چکیده
Two-dimensional (2D) Dirac states with linear band dispersion have attracted enormous interest since the discovery of graphene. However, to date, 2D semimetals are still very rare due fact that generally fragile against perturbations such as spin-orbit couplings. Nonsymmorphic crystal symmetries can enforce formation nodes, providing a new route establishing symmetry-protected in materials. Here we report nonsymmorphic alpha-antimonene. The antimonene was synthesized by method molecular beam epitaxy. Two cones large anisotropy were observed angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. state alpha-antimonene is type contrast spinless result extends 'graphene' physics into family materials where coupling present.

Tunable Weyl and Dirac states in the nonsymmorphic compound CeSbTe
Recent interest in topological semimetals has led to the proposal of many new topological phases that can be realized in real materials. Next to Dirac and Weyl systems, these include more exotic phases based on manifold band degeneracies in the bulk electronic structure. The exotic states in topological semimetals are usually protected by some sort of crystal symmetry, and the introduction of m...

متن کاملObservation of time-reversal-protected single-dirac-cone topological-insulator states in Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3.
We show that the strongly spin-orbit coupled materials Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3 and their derivatives belong to the Z2 topological-insulator class. Using a combination of first-principles theoretical calculations and photoemission spectroscopy, we directly show that Bi2Te3 is a large spin-orbit-induced indirect bulk band gap (delta approximately 150 meV) semiconductor whose surface is characterized by...

متن کاملDirac cone protected by non-symmorphic symmetry and three-dimensional Dirac line node in ZrSiS
Materials harbouring exotic quasiparticles, such as massless Dirac and Weyl fermions, have garnered much attention from physics and material science communities due to their exceptional physical properties such as ultra-high mobility and extremely large magnetoresistances. Here, we show that the highly stable, non-toxic and earth-abundant material, ZrSiS, has an electronic band structure that h...
